How to choose the most practical nozzle

We don't need the best products, just the most practical ones.

First of all, to choose a nozzle, it is necessary to make clear how to use the nozzle after use. For example, it is used for cleaning? Atomization? Or spray? This is the selection of the spray effect of the nozzle.

Secondly, the material of the product needs to have a requirement, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance or wear resistance or the above conditions should be met, this is the choice of material !

Spray conditions: for example, whether the spray liquid contains solid impurities, the solid content, the number of solid particle size and so on, this is the choice of the nozzle aperture and the type of nozzle is also planned.

Coverage area: how much coverage is needed for a single nozzle or the entire production line (the whole equipment), which determines the spray mode and spray angle of the nozzle, whether it is fan spray or cone spray or liquid injection, and at the same time determines the angle of the nozzle. Because the influence of spray angle and spray distance on nozzle coverage is independent of the size of nozzle.

Flow and pressure of use: a single nozzle flow or the whole production line (the whole equipment) of the total head (pressure) and flow directly determine the nozzle type, such as high pressure only fine spray or cleaning the nozzle (HVV) sector, a compressed air spray gun, or only air atomizing nozzle, atmospheric pressure is usually plastic material or ordinary conical nozzle, the single nozzle one hour traffic reach three or more only spiral nozzle or SMP nozzle of large flow nozzle and silicon carbide nozzle. Small and medium flow a single nozzle USES a flow rate between 1 and 3 square nozzles that is, a normal conical or fan nozzle. The flow rate of a single nozzle below one square is the atomizer nozzle (fine atomizer nozzle and air atomizer nozzle or atomizer gun, etc.).

Size of water pipe for nozzle installation: the size of water pipe determines the size of nozzle. The size of water pipe for nozzle installation should be larger than that of nozzle. Simply speaking, if one inch of branch pipe is used to install nozzle, nozzle more than one inch can not be selected (except a conduit only install a nozzle) can only choose smaller, such as 3 / 4 inch, 1 / 2 inch, 1 / 4 inch, 1 / 8 Inch, and if a single water pipe needs to be installed with multiple nozzles, it is necessary to select nozzles smaller than two sizes of the water pipe. For example, one inch of water pipe can only be installed with multiple nozzles smaller than 3 / 4 inch

Spray mode: in brief, it is the spray state, and cut the actual example: horizontal fan spray, floating atomization spray, or conical spray (smoky, drizzle, light rain, moderate rain, heavy rain, rainstorm), which determines the size of droplet particles after atomization.

The same nozzle can be made of many materials, the most commonly used is stainless steel (304.316.310.316l) Engineering polypropylene (PP, abbreviated to plastic), brass, ceramics. Material selection is mainly affected by the temperature and pH of the environment and liquid. Special requirements have to use silicon carbide, PVDF, Teflon, Hashi alloy (C276), tungsten steel and other materials.

As for the connection mode, the same nozzle can be connected with thread (internal thread, external thread), welding, snap connection and flange connection. The most practical is to connect the nozzle with external thread to the water pipe with internal thread.
